200 Gray's Inn Road building has been designed by world famous architects Foster + Partners, 200 Gray’s Inn Road was built for ITN in 1990 as its headquarters and broadcasting hub. The iconic building, owned by The Great Ropemaker Partnership, now provides high quality offices and TV studio accommodation for multiple tenants including ITN, ITV and Channel 4, broadcasting almost constantly throughout the year. Clerkenwell Design has done the refurbishment of the TRT World Studios (Turkish international news channel broadcast 24-hours per day in English) in this amazing building. CAT B fit out in over 9000 sq ft space delivered to high specification works included broad cast studio, surver room,office areas break out area, new kitchen, new toilet blocks, reception and meeting rooms.All with new finishes and M&E services.
• Strip out as required to suit new layout
• Floor finishes generally to suit new layout - store safely for re-use.
• Floor finishes to new broadcast studio area.
• Demountable partition systems and doors.
• Remove suspended system ceiling to new broadcast studio area install studio lighting grid.
• Install new floor to ceiling drywall partitions to modify layout to create new:
Enlarged broadcast studio, comms room, prayer rooms, make up and change rooms, edit suites, modified WC
• Spray all services and slab soffit in new broadcast studio - colour black
• Install new doors as required for new layout
• Repair and make good existing suspended ceiling system to suit new layout
• Full decorations throughout to all walls / partitions both retained and new
• Repair and make good, decorate existing doors
• Re-install existing carpet
• Design and Install electrical works for server room and Broadcast Studio
• Installation of Gas suppression system to server room and new HVAC to Broadcast studio and ACs to server room
• Rearrange fire sprinklers and alarm to suit new layout
• Supply and install new flooring finishes and fire stop sealing to M&E penetration
